Uncontrollably Fond

Welcome, DramaSpot readers!

This week I am recommending the romantic drama: Uncontrollably Fond.
Starring Kim Woo Bin, Bae Su Ji, Im Ju Hwan, Jin Kyung, Lee Seo Won, and Ryu Won.
Written by Lee Kyung Hee, this 20 episode series aired in 2016.
Watch it on DramaFever, Viki, and KissAsian.

'Uncontrollably Fond' Stills

No Eul (Bae Su Ji) and Shin Joon Young (Kim Woo Bin) were in a relationship as teenagers until they are suddenly separated. Years later No Eul is now a TV producer and Joon Young has become a top Hallyu star with an arrogant personality. When No Eul is assigned to produce a documentary on Joon Young the two have a second chance encounter as adults and cannot deny the spark between them.

Uncontrollably Fond was the talk of the KDrama world because of Kim Woo Bin and Suzy who are both big named stars in South Korea. The second chance romance between the two leads and the love-hate relationship they have are common tropes in drama that keep the viewers watching and wanting more!

'Missing 9' Promotional Photo

Ra Bong Hee (Baek Jin Hee) wakes up and finds herself on the shores of China with no memory of what happened to her. As she returns to South Korea it’s revealed that she was on a plane as Seo Joon Oh’s (Jung Kyung Ho) stylist and eight other artists and staff of Legend Entertainment that crashed four months ago while on the way to tour. As more people question Bong Hee’s arrival and how she survived, she starts to remember what happened to her and the other missing nine people the last four months.

This is a very interesting show to recommend. At first glance it looks like it will be a heavy drama with action and thrills but when you start to watch it has a lot of comedic parts woven in. I’ve never watched the show Lost but if I were to try to explain this show to a friend I would say that this would be the Korean version of Lost but has many of funny moments.
