Choi Moo Gak (Park Yoo Chun) was a loving brother who cared for his younger sister until one night she was murdered by a killer known as the ‘Barcode’ killer. Oh Cho Rim (Shin Se Kyung) also became a part of the ‘Barcode’ Murder case after her parents were killed and she was the only witness. But while escaping the killer Cho Rim gets hit by a car and falls into a coma. Three years later Cho Rim awakens with no memory of what happened to her but finds that she can see smells with her eyes. Moo Gak has become a police officer who has dedicated his life to finding the man who murdered his sister and in the process, has lost all feelings that made him human. Together Moo Gak and Cho Rim work together to find out more about Cho Rim’s past and why she and Moo Gak are possible targets of the Barcode murderer.

Sensory Couple is one of the cutest crime dramas I have seen. There are equal parts of thriller, comedy, romance, and mystery while watching this suspenseful drama. Shin Se Kyung and Park Yoo Chun have a great chemistry together that leaves you wanting them to end up together and become closer as the show moves forward. I’d definitely recommend this drama to those who like romance but also for those who enjoy crime shows with many twists and turns.

Ghost

Welcome DramaSpot readers!

This week I am recommending the Mystery Drama: Ghost.
Starring So Ji Sub, Lee Yeon Hee, Uhm Ki Joon, Daniel Choi, Jung Byung Hee, and Kwak Do Won.
Written by Kim Eun Hee, this 20 episode series aired in 2012.
Watch it on DramaFever, Viki, and KissAsian.

Kim Woo Hyun (So Ji Sub) is the son of a well-known police officer. Wanting to make a name for himself, Woo Hyun also joins the police academy and quickly becomes top of his class and the envy of his peers. After he graduates, he is assigned to the Cyber Investigations and is enthralled by the psychological games of his faceless criminals. Together, Woo Hyun and other members of the Cyber Investigation squad, Yoo Kang Mi (Lee Yeon Hee) and Jo Hyung Min (Uhm Ki Joon), will work together to catch the criminals they can not see.

Ghost seems like the perfect drama for those who love crime series. Similar to Voice there seems to be one main ‘villain’ that is continuous through the whole series, and it is so enticing to watch. So Ji Sub is so serious and plays the part of a Policeman well. With its suspenseful plot and complex characters, I recommend Ghost to anyone that is a fan of crime shows and drama.

Voice

Hello, DramaSpot readers!

This week I am recommending the Thrilling Drama: Voice.
Starring: Jang Hyuk, Lee Ha Na, Kim Jong Woon, Son Eun Seo, Cha Soo Yun, and Baek Sung Hyun.

Watch it on DramaFever, Viki, and KissAsian. A new episode is available to stream every Monday and Tuesday.

Moo Jin Hyuk (Jang Hyuk) was seen as a model detective until one night his wife is murdered, leaving Jin Hyuk feeling guilty that he wasn’t able to save her. Kang Kwon Joo (Lee Ha Na) was an 112 Emergency Operator who was blamed for the death of a caller, Jin Hyuk’s wife. Three years later Kwon Joo is back from studying in the United States to become a Voice Profiler and has returned to create the “Golden Time” Emergency Team. When Jin Hyuk is pulled in to work with Kwon Joo together they want to discover who the serial killer is that murdered  Jin Hyuk’s wife and Kwon Joo’s father, who had encountered the killer 3 years ago.

I recommend this drama for anyone out there who enjoys crime shows and thrillers. From the first episode, this show isn’t too gory and is more psychologically playing with the viewer and leaving you guessing what is going to happen next! With only 5 episodes out so far I’m excited to see if there will be any romance in this show but for now, I’m sitting on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who the killer is!
